Our History
MAK Anesthesia was founded in 2011 by a group of forward-thinking physicians who shared a commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes. Initially serving one hospital and two surgery centers, these principles continue to guide the organization as it now provides anesthesia services across multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities throughout Georgia.
In 2016, Strategic Health Partners (SHP) was established as the management services organization and parent company. SHP also offers consulting services in the perioperative space, including:
- Hospital based anesthesia services assessments
- Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH) implementation
- Management of anesthesia services Request for Proposal (RFP)
